Rossi wants more improvements

Valentino Rossi was pleased to get back into the top 10 in United States Grand Prix qualifying at Laguna Seca, but said Ducati needs to find more pace before he can make any further progress in the race. After qualifying between 11th and 16th at each of the last four grands prix, Rossi took seventh place in America on Saturday, having finally begun to get on top of Ducati's new GP11.1 - a 2012 chassis fitted with the current 800cc engine. Rossi was keen to point out that while the Laguna result was progress, there was more to do.
