Ecclestone says FOTA unnecessary

Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has taken a fresh swipe at the Formula One Teams' Association - saying its members would be better off focusing on making quicker racing cars. Ecclestone has always been sceptical about FOTA since it was formed in 2008 and, ahead of looming discussions to try and frame a fresh Concorde Agreement, he has once again questioned the benefit of the teams' body.
