Whincup gives Holden 400th victory

Jamie Whincup stretched his V8 Supercars championship lead to 194 points with two events remaining and gave Holden its 400th win in the series as he fended off the Ford Performance Racing cars to take his second triumph of the weekend at Symmons Plains. Triple Eight driver Whincup had started only third behind FPR's Paul Dumbrell and Mark Winterbottom, and lost another place to Shane van Gisbergen (Stone Brothers Ford) off the line.
